At Collier Row Gospel Hall, we have various Bible Study ministries that we conduct on a regular basis. We also have special meetings, which are highlighted in the Special Meetings section.
Sunday Family Service
If you are visiting us for the first time, this is the one we would recommend you attend. We usually start of with a few hymns, followed by a Bible message that brings out gospel and practical Christian application in a simple manner – catered for everyone.
Sunday Group Bible Study
During term time, after the Family service and refreshments we have a time of studying from the Bible. The format is usually reading through a passage and discussing as a group the prepared questions. Question/answer sheets and pens will be provided. We also have Bibles at our hall that you can use for the meeting. Currently, we are going through the book of Ezra.
Mid-Week Meeting
Eevery Tuesday we meet at 8:00pm for a time of prayer followed by Bible Study ministry. We run these in two formats:
- Bible Class: This is a speaker led study from a portion in the Bible, and we usually have guest speakers joining us.
- Bible Reading: This is an interesting format, where we read a portion from the Bible and men from the congregation have the opportunity to share the thoughts they have prepared. This is an interactive and discussion based study.
Thursday night Bible Study
First Thursday of every month, we meet for a time of in-depth bible study. After initial intro on a portion of scripture, we take time to get some coffee/tea and get stuck in discussions – learning and understanding the wonderful truths revealed in the Word of God.
